Peter Pan Ticket Sales Fly High Thanks to the S Club Factor
This year’s panto at the White Rock Theatre in Hastings – Peter Pan – is set to be a soaraway success.

It stars former S Club 7 singer Jon Lee as Peter, the boy who didn’t want to grow up and flew away to the Neverland. Jon also played handsome hero Marius in the legendary West End musical Les Miserables.

And fans are ignoring the credit crunch to buy tickets for the show, which opens on December 10 and runs to January 4 2009.

Box office records for panto at the venue are being smashed and running at almost double what they were this time last year.

For JC & JW Productions, Julian Chenery (who wrote the panto) said: “I am delighted that so many local people are booking to see our version of Peter Pan and we promise them a terrific festive treat. We don’t have the X Factor – we have the S Club Factor!

“See our show and you can reach for the stars. It has all the traditional ingredients plus plenty of fun new twists – look out for our Tinker Bell on roller skates, Hastings-based comedian Steve Furst as funny Pirate Smee and, of course, the terrifying ticking crocodile!”
