ALL NEW PETER PAN FLIES IN TO HASTINGS

A brand new production team have unveiled what they promise to be a five-star pantomime for Hastings this Christmas.

Staff at the White Rock Theatre were last week introduced to the producers from JC & JW Theatre Productions who are bringing Peter Pan to the Hastings venue later this year.

Julian Chenery (JC) is the creative force behind the world-acclaimed Shakespeare 4 Kidz Theatre Company and has brought his Shakespeare musicals to the White Rock for over 10 years.

Both of them are “passionate about pantomime” and together as JC & JW they have formed a company to produce Christmas shows of the highest quality.

“All I care about is creating five-star shows” says Chenery “and Hastings deserves a quality show at Christmastime.”
Full casting will be announced at the official launch in June. In the meantime the show has already gone on sale with ticket prices frozen at last year’s level for all those who book and pay before Easter.

The producers have also promised special preview performances for local schools as well as Office Christmas Party Nights for local businesses.

White Rock Theatre manager Gareth Booker said “We’re delighted to be bringing this fabulous production of Peter Pan to the White Rock. The show has everything: a great story with characters we all know and love; superb sets and colourful costumes; well-known songs mixed with musical classics; pirates, Indians, a crocodile and a Peter Pan that flies through the auditorium! Peter Pan runs from Wednesday 10th December 2008 to Sunday 4th January 2009 at the White Rock Theatre. Tickets are on sale now 0870 145 11 33.
