Panto time

Get ready for your boos, hisses and behind yous because it's panto time again.

This year's show is teh much-loved story of Peter Pan and a host of West End stars are flocking to The White Rock Theatre for what promises to be a brilliant show.

Topping the bill is former S Club 7 star Jon Lee as Peter Pan. The former pop star shot tofame with the 1990s chart sensations alongside Strictly Come Dancing favourite Rachel Stevens.

His colleagues in Peter Pan are no less talented. Olivia Chenery plays the mischievous fairy Tinker Bell and local funnyman Steve Furst takes to teh stage as Pirate Smee.

Elsewhere, Neil Brennan as Captain Hook, is certain to provide an ample helping of menace and villainy.

Ticket sales have been soaring for the panto, which promises to be the biggest and best ever staged at The White Rock.

White Rock Panto Treat for Sophie

Terminally ill Sophie Wittman had her Christmas dreams answered this week thanks to a kind-hearted theatre boss and the Hastings Observer.

The 10-year-old girl was unable to join her classmates on a trip to see the pantomime Peter Pan because she had been off when staff at St Paul's CE School handed out permission slips.

Box Office rush for Peter Pan tickets

THIS year's panto at The White Rock Theatre is set to be a soaraway success - with tickets selling fast.
It stars former S Club 7 singer Jon Lee as Peter Pan, the boy who didn't want to grow up and flew away to Neverland.

Jon also played handsome hero Marius in the legendary West End musical Les Miserables.

Fans are ignoring the credit crunch to buy tickets for the show, which opens on December 10 and runs to January 4.

Box office records for panto at the venue are being smashed and running at almost double what they were this time last year.
