JON LEE (Peter Pan)
Jon is best known as a member of the pop sensation S Club 7 which enjoyed number one hits all over the world including four in the UK, and to this day remain massively popular with TV shows such as Miami 7, Hollywood 7 and Viva S Club which were seen by over 90 million viewers in over 100 countries. As well as the popularity of their television series, S Club 7 won two BRIT awards: in 2000 for British breakthrough act and in 2002, for best British single (Don’t Stop Movin’).
As a musical theatre actor, Jon starred as Oliver Twist in Cameron Mackintosh’s original production of Oliver! at the London Palladium with Jonathan Pryce as Fagin – and with Sally Dexter (rather than Jodie Prenger) as Nancy. He has appeared as Marius in two long runs of Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre (which earned him a nomination for Best Newcomer in the What’s On Stage Awards) and at the Queen’s Theatre in London.
Jon will be seen later this year as Billy Fury in Nick Moran’s film Telstar and is the voice of Max in the new Disney Channel version of The Famous Five.
STEVE FURST (Smee)
Steve is one of the best known comedy faces in Britain, appearing as Lenny Beige in The Lenny Beige Television Show on Channel 4 and 2 series of The Lenny Beige Variety Pack for BBC. More recently he has appeared in all three seasons of the hugely successful Little Britain with Matt Lucas and David Walliams, and is recognised in cinemas across the land as one of the faces of Orange telecom’s award-winning commercials. Steve has just finished filming a new 13 part series for BBC1 called The Legend of Dick and Dom which begins in January 2009.
Other television credits include; Rock Profiles (BBC), My Dad’s The Prime Minister (BBC), M.I High (BBC) ,Bodies (BBC) ,Annually Retentive (BBC), Armstrong & Miller (C4), Absolute Power (BBC), Catterick (BBC), Massive (BBC), The Bill (ITV), Born and Bred (BBC), Wuthering Heights (ITV). Film credits include; The Piano Tuner, The Clap, Graham and Alice, Medium Rare, St Trinians, and the forthcoming Malice in Wonderland.
In addition to a host of radio credits he has written the book The History of Radio Comedy for Virign and has contributed to many TV shows as a panellist being a regular on The Wright Stuff (Channel 5).
On the stage Steve appeared in the hit version of 12 Angry Men at the Edinburgh Festival, and he has written and toured several one man character shows including Behind the Net Curtains and Celebrity Squares. Last Christmas he appeared as Beastly Boris in the Barbican’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk in London.
Steve is renowned locally for hosting the monthly Laugh It Up! comedy club in Hastings Old Town which returns to Venue M in the new year.
NEIL BRENNAN (Captain Hook/Mr Darling)
Neil Brennan reprises his role as Captain Hook from the Chenery & Warnock original version. A graduate of Mountview Conservatoire for Performing Pirates, his professional career has included TV appearances in The Bill and Red Dwarf (The New Kryten), along with stage credits as Giles Ralston in the European Tour of The Mousetrap, Aslan in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at The Arts Theatre in London’s West End, Muscles in The Toy Shop at The Fortune Theatre, London and UK Tour.
STEPHEN McGLYNN (Starkey)
When Stephen McGlynn, who was in the original London cast of Mary Poppins, played Bert the chimney-sweep, he had to tap-dance on the proscenium arch upside-down thirty feet in the air! Now that IS flying! His other West End credits include Mamma Mia, Les Miserables, Crazy For You and The Witches of Eastwick. He has recently been seen as Cogsworth on the UK tour of Beauty and the Beast.
CLAIRE MARLOWE (Wendy)
Claire wowed audiences both on tour and in London's West End as Swallow in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Whistle Down the Wind. She has recently finished a UK tour of Half a Sixpence where she played Ann opposite Gary Wilmott's Arthur Kipps.
DEBBIE LEIGH-SIMMONS (Mrs Darling/Mermaid)
Debbie is currently in the touring production of S4K's Romeo and Juliet - The Musical playing the Nurse. Since graduating from Italia Conti her theatre credits have include: Fahrenheit 451 (original cast, European No1 tour); Jude The Obscure (original cast, Yale University, USA); and Peter Pan (Theatre Royal, Nottingham). Her film credits include Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (Paramount) and Vanity Fair (Focus Features); and she is a featured dancer in Mika’s pop video Big Girls (You Are Beautiful!).
AUDREY LEYBOURNE (The Narrator)
Audrey has enjoyed a vast theatrical career beginning by touring with Sir Donald Wolfit’s celebrated company and expanding into a multitude of West End appearances, including the musicals Me and My Girl, Crazy For You, My Fair Lady, and Oliver!, a host of Royal gala performances and she is celebrated on television as one of the original, much beloved 'Roly Polys'.
OLIVIA CHENERY (Tinker Bell)
Olivia has just appeared in Out of Me at the Soho Theatre in London for the National Youth Theatre. Earlier this year she played Ariel in the national and international tour of S4K's The Tempest and she took over the role of Ophelia in S4K's Hamlet for the international section of the 2008 tour. Her TV credits include Princess Elizabeth in the ITV1 series The Queen's Story; and she was the featured artist in Way Out West's pop video Intensify.
